“Shy Billy Bullfinch is a secret eater. You may glimpse him in the springtime orchard, when his love of buds draws him out of hiding. But if he sees you, he’ll nod his black cap, and this little blushing boy will vanish once more.”

Billy Bullfinch is made from pinky purple Harris Tweed with grey and black Yorkshire tweed. He has a beady little black resin button eye. The details on his body have been needle felted from natural merino fibres. The layers of fabric have been appliquéd together and backed with black felt. He fastens with a 2.5cm silver tone bar brooch back.

He measures approximately 6 x 10cm
