Billy Budgie is made from turquoise wool tweed with a black and white houndstooth head and wing. The details above his beak have been needle felted from natural merino fibres. He is appliquéd onto a lantern that has been covered with a teal leaf print cotton Batik fabric. My batik fabric comes from Hoffman Batiks, who are a 90 year old Californian, family run firm. All of their batik is hand printed in Bali.

The lantern measures 12cm high with a diameter of 10cm.

This lantern is suitable for use with battery powered tea lights or filled with a string of fairy lights. Do not use with candles as the fabric is not flame retardant.
