Joey the green Budgie is made with vibrant lime green Yorkshire tweed, with a yellow and brown herringbone Yorkshire tweed wing and head. The detail above his beak has been needle felted from natural merino fibres.  

The layers of tweed have been needle felted, free motion embroidered together and backed with vintage leather, most of which were my grandads samples from his days as the manager of Leeds Tannery in the 1960’s.

As the samples came in postcard size pieces of all colours and styles, the leather used to back your keyring may be different from the picture. The keyring is copper riveted together and has a 2.5cm copper split ring.

He measures approximately 6 x 10cm

Because all of my tweedy birds are hand made, they all have a distinct personality. There may be small differences between yours and the one in the picture
